Eight years ago, Misba’s migraine became chronic — affecting her 15 or more days every month. At her worst, severe light sensitivity left her housebound. She sought help from numerous specialists and tried everything available: medication adjustments, TENS machines, ice packs, noise-cancelling earplugs, screen filters, and specialist consultations. None provided lasting relief.
When she discovered FL-41 lens technology — first developed following clinical research in Birmingham, England — she experienced meaningful improvement. She could go to the supermarket. She could sit in a meeting room. She could use a screen without spending the rest of the day in a darkened room. FL-41 changed her daily life.

The Science
The research we are built on
FL-41 lenses were developed following clinical research in Birmingham, England. Research has found that specific wavelengths of blue-green light (approximately 480–520nm) are disproportionately associated with migraine photophobia and sensory light sensitivity.
FL-41 lenses selectively filter these wavelengths while preserving functional vision — unlike dark sunglasses, which block all light and can increase sensitivity through dark adaptation with prolonged indoor wear.
