The Science Behind FL-41
The research

Light sensitivity (photophobia) affects an estimated 80–90% of people during a migraine attack, according to the American Migraine Foundation.
Current research suggests that intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells (ipRGCs) — particularly sensitive to blue-green light — play a role in the pain pathway between the eye and the trigeminal nucleus in the brain.
FL-41 lenses reduce transmission of the blue-green wavelengths (480–520nm) most associated with this pathway, while preserving functional vision for everyday use.
